It's a fantastic, secure, small furnished house (90M2 or 1000 sqF) in a commercial/residencial zone just a block from the main freeway heading east from Curridabat, and just 50 meters from the bus stop and a supermarket, and beside a Chinese restaurant.

This place is designed for the comfort of foreigners who want value, want to be close to public transport, stores and restaurants (Chinese next door, Italian a block away), want to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of a middle class family-oriented suburb on the east side of the gran area metropolitana (Greater San Jose). It's ideal for people working in the Curridabat/Tres Rios areas. And ideal because it's already fully furnished and has so much going for it.

Laundry area comes with large cupboards and is equipped with a compact washing machine, with special 220v connection for a possible dryer. It is completely covered with a sun roof but with good fresh air ventilation.

The dining area comes with a four seater dining table as shown.

Kitchen comes with plentiful cupboard/storage space, and is equipped with a great stove/oven and good fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, some pots, cups, plates, glasses, and silverware.

The living area comes with a two-seater sofa and two easy chairs, and TV furniture stand.

The refundable security bond for the home is equivalent to two month's rental (due to our house being furnished with valuable items and problems with past tenants) and the refundable security bond for services is $150 (due to the normal 6-week delay with some utility bills in CR). We waive the contract cost of $95 all all rentals of at least 3 years. Monthly rates including utilties are available for short term stays.

This is great value for a nice furnished place located so close to a supermarket and other stores, as well as frequent and safe public transport!

The secure garage is great for a vehicle or simply for extra space, for kids playing, storage or whatever. There is no green space to maintain, and overall, the home is very low maintenance.

The extra storage space outside is perfect for bikes, or for semi-outdoor private seating.

This is an excellent location for security in this commercial/residencial zone, and the house has been constructed to be safe, and not draw attention to itself.

The pictures of the house were taken with previous tenants resident and who had added to the basic furnishings we provide. We have tried to mention all basic furnishings and equipment that actually come with the rental by name, but if you have seen something you like, and think we haven't mentioned it in our written description, then please check with us!

Please note that this is not a QUIET out-of-the-way location, and does not have green space or a garden (although you can use potted plants all through the garage to create one). It's a very urban-feel location being so close to transport, shoppping and services. You will regularly hear people talking on the streets or parking on the street outside (this is a BIG PLUS for SECURITY/HOME SAFETY in Costa Rica), and you will often hear some activity from the Chinese restaurant next door, if you are at home a lot.

This beautiful cozy 92m2 (1000 ft) furnished and equipped home is in a nice middle class family location. It's so close; just minutes to walk to all the services, as well as with excellent access to the capital, whether you have a car, or need to use the frequent buses. The climate & tap water is great.

The house was completely refurbished and redesigned for lots of natural daylight, and fresher air.

It is a very comfortable, secure, and attractive place to rent. A triple sofa and two easy chairs with central footrest, dining room table and chairs for four. There is good closet space in each bedroom. Let's discuss your needs.

Good portons/gate, strong front door, sophisticated locks and other important security features especially for a foreigner's peace of mind (so one can travel outside San Jose, leaving the home and valuables completely secure.)

The covered secure garage space can fit up to a small SUV, as well as a scooter or bikes. The secure gate makes for safety.

The home comprises of three furnished bedrooms (master plus two smaller ones which can be used for room mates, occasional guests, offices, or storage space).


The master bedroom has a huge, spacious, built-in wooden closet with a long vertical mirror. Comfortably, this master bedroom is furnished with a full double bed with good mattress (much better newer mattress not pictured), night stand tables, table lamp, drawers and mirrors.

There are two smaller single bedrooms which can come with the built-in closets as pictured AS WELL AS, a good single twin bed, as well as closets, and side table!

The wonderful, secure skylights give this place plenty of natural light.

The fresh earthy tones we have painted in, along with the new terracotta tiled floors in two of the bedrooms gives the place a cozy warm "at home" feeling.
